Recipe for Mint Chocolate Chip 
Homemade Ice Cream

  • 4 cups 2 percent milk
  • 4 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 teaspoons peppermint extract
  • 8 drops green food coloring
  • 2 cups miniature semisweet chocolate chips

  1. In large bowl, stir together the milk, cream, sugar, salt, vanilla and peppermint until the sugar has dissolved.
  2. Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and follow the directions from your manufacturer. (Generally, layer crushed ice and rock salt around the canister and freeze until the motor stops--for this recipe, about 30 minutes). After the first 10 minutes, open the lid carefully and add the chocolate chips, then return to churning.
  3. Once the machine has stopped churning, remove the thickened ice cream and put into a freezer safe container. Freeze until hard (about 2 hours), then serve.

Art.016 Bracelet Heavenly

If you like the blue this is the bracelet for you

a sweet lollipop ^.^ 
Below I write the recipe for the Peppermint lollipop (I love)
but if you want you can choose 
the flavor and color of your choice.

Recipe for Peppermint lollipops 

  • 500g granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp cream of tartar
  • 200ml water
  • 2 tsp peppermint essence
  • green food colouring
  • 40 plastic lollipop sticks, or wooden skewers cut into short lengths

  1. Put the sugar and cream of tartar into a saucepan with 200ml hot water. Gently heat until the sugar has completely melted, then increase the heat and boil until the mixture reaches the 'hard crack' stage on a sugar thermometer (or a small spoonful dropped into cold water sets hard). Remove from heat immediately and swirl in peppermint essence and enough green colouring to give a pale green colour - start by adding just one drop at a time.
  2. Cover a heatproof surface with baking parchment. Using a metal spoon, carefully pour some peppermint syrup onto the paper - roughly ½-1 tbsp per lolly. Push a lolly stick into each. If the syrup becomes too thick, just put the pan back over a gentle heat briefly. But if the syrup is too hot and runny, the shapes won't be as even so set it aside for a minute. Set lollies until hard.
  3. To clean equipment after lollipop making drop everything back into the pan, fill with water and bring to the boil.

  •  4 Slices of  bacon
  •  4 Eggs

  1. Slowly warm rind-free slices of streaked bacon in a cold pan, turning frequently, for 3-4 minutes until it reaches the desired crispness.
  2. Serve with poached or fried eggs laid on top of the bacon.

Recipe for good Cookies
  • 2 cups white whole wheat flour
  • 1/4 cup wheat germ
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup applesauce
  • 2/3 cup white sugar
  • 2/3 cup light brown sugar, packed
  • 1 tsp. pure vanilla extract
  • 1 egg
  • 1 egg white
  • 8 oz dark chocolate chips, such as Nestle 53% or 62% cacao

  1. Preheat oven to 375. Line two cookie sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Stir together flour, wheat germ and baking soda in a medium bowl. Set aside. Cream together butter, apple sauce and sugars until well blended. Beat in vanilla, egg and egg white. Beat in flour mixture until it forms a soft dough. Stir in chocolate chips.
  3. Drop rounded teaspoons onto prepared cookie sheets. Bake 7-10 minutes, alternating cookie sheets halfway through (place top cookie sheet on bottom rack of oven and bottom cookie sheet on top rack), until lightly browned around the edges.
  4. Makes 36 cookies.
